| St. Augustine is the oldest city in the U.S. One of the must-see sites is the Castillo de San Marcos fort. |

| There are real cannons up in the fort, and the view on a sunny day is great!. |

| It was just before bike week in Daytona, so Harley's were dime-a-dozen. |

Since we stayed the night in Jacksonville, we
ate dinner there. Beyond any doubt, Nino's is
the best Italian food I have had in all of
Florida! They serve awesome fresh baked bread and soup
with their dinners; and for their dinners you have a
choice of one of about a dozen different sauces -
Marinara, Rosetto, Nino's Special,...we didn't have
room for desert, but each of their desserts could
probably feed 3-4!
In St. Augustine there are many small places, and we didn't get a chance to try many. We had lunch at Peking Chinese Restaurant. A place that looked really good was Cortesse Cafe but we didn't stay in town long enough! |
