Final Manuscript Submission Procedure and Checklist
- Please do not use EDAS to upload your final manuscript(s). EDAS was
used for paper review and is not being used for collecting final
submissions. In other words, you are done with EDAS for LCN 2006. Please use
the EDAS assigned number for your paper for all communications with the
Program chairs or Publications chair.
- Sign an IEEE copyright release form (available from www.ieee.org/web/publications/authors/index.html)
for the paper. If you have a scanner, scan the signed form
and email it as decribed below. If you do not have a scanner,
please FAX your signed copyright form to Ehab Elmallah (LCN 2006 publications chair)
at 780 492 1071 (and please email email@example.com)
that you have sent a FAX).
- Prepare the final manuscript with no page numbering. Instructions for paper
formatting can be found here: for Word,
FrameMaker. Additional instructions and forms from
the IEEE are available from:

the Author Resources
- Full papers are limited to 8 camera-ready pages, 10pt font in IEEE
two-column format. Short papers are limited to 2 camera-ready pages in
length. Overlength papers can be submitted with a page charge of $100 per

- All final submissions must satisfy the IEEE PDF Xplore requirements.
Failing to submit an IEEE Xplore compatible PDF file may result in the
file not being included in the conference proceedings. Please refer to
the IEEE document
Requirements for Creating PDF files for IEEE Xplore for more
information. To assure that all submitted PDF files are IEEE
Xplore compliant, LCN 2006 strongly recommends that all final
submissions be created using the IEEE PDF eXpress service. The
service is free of charge for LCN 2006, and can be accessed using the
IEEE PDF eXpress Access Info:
- The service starts
on August 1, 2006 until
the camera-ready deadline
on August 25, 2006.
- Extensive help on creating new eXpress user
accounts, submitting files, and getting the converted files are available
by following the "Using IEEE PDF eXpress" link at the above URL.
- No later than August 25, 2006
