This page contains general notices for
Senior Project.
November 18, 2009 - Oops, the due date of your takehome exam is
Wednesday, November 25th at 9:40am (i.e., start of class). So, the exam
instructions will say this (and not a Friday deadline as stated below).
November 17, 2009 - Your final presentation to me - and the entire
class - will be on Wednesday, December 2nd in ENB 313 (from 9:30am to 1:00pm).
You can sign-up for a slot -- 9:30am, 10:10am, 10:50am, 11:30am, and 12:10pm
by emailing christen@cse.usf.edu.
My current plan is to have lunch brought-in around 11:30am... but, I am not
sure of this yet. Note that all final deliverables are due at this
time (i.e., on Wednesday), see the
course outline.
November 17, 2009 - The instructions as they will appear on your
exam are:
Mini-Exam for Senior Project - Take Home - Due Friday, November 20,
5pm
Welcome to your 10% mini-exam for Senior Project. The exam is open book and
notes, also open Internet (you may google, etc.). However, you may not
receive or give help from or to another person by discussing the exam in any
way. If you copy the answer directly out of the textbook (or some other
source, such as a website), be sure to properly "quote" the answer (otherwise it
is assumed that any answer is given in your own words). There are six questions
(each worth 16 points - there are 4 points overall for "free") and one extra
credit question worth 10 points. The exam is targeted for 75 minutes - about 12
minutes per question. Please fill-in this cover sheet and submit it on top of
your answer sheets. Please use a separate sheet of paper for each question. It
is OK (actually, I would prefer it :-)) to type the answers (i.e., to use a word
processor on a computer). Please read the entire exam before starting to
answer any questions - there are two pages.
August 24, 2009 - Welcome to a new semester!
