Ken Christensen received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1991 under the supervision of Professor Arne Nilsson. Before joining USF in 1995, Ken was an Advisory Engineer at IBM in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. In 1998 and 1999 he was a NASA Summer Faculty Fellow at Kennedy Space Center. Ken received an NSF CAREER award in 1999. In spring 2004 he was a visitor in the Department of Communication Systems at Lund University (Sweden). Ken is the Editor-in-Chief for the Wiley journal International Journal of Network Management.

In previous semesters I have taught: I coordinate the department's ABET and SACS accreditation efforts for the undergraduate Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Systems programs. My research is focused on reducing the energy use of networks and the end devices that connect to networks. My research project web site is:
