Albert Ng is an undergraduate Honors student of the College of Computer Science and Engineering. His expected graduation is set for the Fall of 2006. Currently, Albert is a co-op student for CAE USA as well, and he enjoys his work there very much. He is also an active member of ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery.

Co-op Experience

Since May of 2005, I have been a co-op student for CAE. CAE is a world-class provider of civil aviation and military training simulators. Their US headquarters is right here in Tampa, FL. As a co-op student, I have had the privilege of working side-by-side with great engineers every day, and the experience has been priceless.

Recent areas of exploration:

DirectX 9 Audio
Microsoft Speech API 5.1 and Text-to-speech Engines
XML-based documentation - XML, XSL, and SVG
Linux development including X-Windows and Qt Libraries
