The USF Engineering Expo is coming next week (Friday the 17, and Saturday the 18), and the IEEE Computer Society will be involved. A number of members already have volunteered to work the event with us on both days, but if you would like to volunteer, please fill out the volunteer form here. Please consider volunteering during the morning hours if you can. Volunteers are eligible to receive free t-shirts and meal tickets, and the event is a lot of fun. IEEE-CS USF chapter is organizing our second programming competition which will be on Saturday October 1st . This time it will be based on SQL. The winner(s) will get a certificate signed by USF CSE professor Dr.Yicheng Tu. This will definitely be something to boost your resume with. If you are not familiar with SQL, don't be discouraged as it's relatively easy to get a grasp of it. All participants will receive a gift for participating. :)
