Welcome to the Geometric Modeling and Computer Graphics research group in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of South Florida. Members of the group are MS and PhD students performing research in the broad spectrum of the field. Current research projects include:

• Applied computational geometry with emphasis on triangulations

• Scattered data interpolation for terrain surface modeling

• Shape operators and user interface for curve and surface sculpting

• Human visual perception and a new paradigm for computer imagery

• Tessellation and geometry processing of trimmed surfaces

• Genetic algorithms supported curve and surface intersections

• Testbed environment for B-spline software development

• Parallel algorithms for B-splines

• Fractal curve and surface generation via randomized subdivision
