Project 18. Program-resident garbage-collection specifications

  • This project seeks to develop a new programming-language apparatus to allow programmers to control garbage collectors.  We will attempt to improve Java, ML, or O'Caml (three relatively popular garbage-collected languages) by adding our new garbage-collector apparatus to those languages.

Project Requirement

  • Experience in Java, ML, or O'Caml required
  • Background knowledge of garbage collectors
